Find help and hope through the Greater Blue Ridge Chapter JDRF community

Get connected to others in the Greater Blue Ridge region who is dealing with similar issues surrounding life with type 1 diabetes- others who have the common goal of finding a cure. Join our network of families and friends ranging from newly diagnosed parents, teens, children, young adults, and adults who have lived with diabetes for years. We have a place for you in the JDRF family and, we want to help.

At the Greater Blue Ridge Chapter, we are:

• Mentors who are here for you when you need advice, need to share or just need to talk.
• Families who understand life with diabetes and want to reach out to you in fellowship, showing support from a caring community.
• Virtual friends who share the ups and downs of type 1 diabetes through online sites.
• Advocates who work together to build bonds--bonds with one another, as well as with our Members of Congress.
• Volunteers who devote their time and energy to support our efforts to find a cure.
• Community organization partners that offer a variety of fun and educational programs.
